I kept the inside simple, leaving room for some writing.  I used the pretty lace die included with the Summer Season stamp set.

Inspired Stamps Patriotic Card

Hello, and welcome here!  July is going to be upon us before we know it, and Antoinette has designed some awesome Patriotic stamps for Inspired Stamps!  Although it's an American company, there are still tons of ways to make it fit whatever country you may be from.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

If you haven't figured it out yet I'm Canadian, so I went with a Canadian flag inspired card.  I used the red and white stripes like on the Canadian flag, and I used red ink with the Inspired Stamps sentiment from More Perfect Sentiments, finishing it off with a small maple leaf in the center.

Inside:
For the inside I used His Little Ones: Soldier With Helmet, and the sentiment is from 1" Circle Sentiments, and I added another maple leaf to finish it off.

Recipe:  Inspired Stamps SS-More Perfect Sentiments, His Little Ones: Soldier With Helmet & 1" Circle Sentiments, PP-Basic Grey Infuse Stew, CTMH CS-White Daisy, CTMH Ink-Black, Memento Ink-Lady Bug, Spellbinders-Labels 22, Foam Squares, Marvy Uchida Maple Leaf Punch, Rhinestones.

I made 2 cards to showcase this New Release so be sure to scroll all the way down to view both creations.

Card Size:  4.5" x 6"
I used the beautiful Ornate Gateway Die, and I used a the center portion of the flourish accent piece for my corners.  The soft pink patterned paper is from the Daphne 12x12 Collection.  I didn't want to take away from the gate so I kept my card fairly simple.

The gate pieces open to reveal the All Seasons Gazebo stamp that I coloured with Copic Markers.

 Copics Used:
Gazebo - N7, C0, C1
Roof - N5, N7
Trees - G82, G85, E23
Big Leaf Plant on left - G20, G21
Low Bushes with blue flower - YG13, B93
Hostas - YG03, YG17
Grass - G20, G21
Pink Flowers - RV11, R56
Purple Flowers - RV63, YG11
Striped Plants on right - Y32, G82, G85
Sky - BG0000

Inside:
I love decorating the inside of my cards, I used the Spring Season stamp and stamped it with Tattered Rose Distress Ink, I then stamped the bucket of flowers with Black Memento ink onto a separate piece of white CS, I coloured it with Copics Markers, fussy cut it and attached it to the inside of my card.  I also used the All Seasons Sentiments to add the word 'Blessings', also stamped on a separate piece of white CS and fussy cut.  Copics Used:  W1, W3, W5, R01, G20, G21, YG67, E33.

Recipe:  HC Die-Ornate Gateway, HC SS-All Seasons Gazebo Precut Set, HC PP-Daphne Collection, Memento Black Ink, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Bazzill CS-Black, Wild Orchid Crafts Rose Petal Vintage Seam Binding, Foam Squares, Copic Markers, White Pearls, Blush Pearls.
Inside Card:  HC SS-Spring Season Precut Set & All Seasons Sentiments Precut Set, Distress Ink-Tattered Rose, Memento Black Ink, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Copic Markers.

Card Size:  4.75" x 4.75"
I totally lifted this awesome stained glass window idea from the lovely Dina over at Mama Dini's Stamperia.  I didn't have plans to do stained glass until I saw the awesome HC Ornate Gateway Die.

I used HC Clear CS and Copic Markers to achieve the stained glass look. I attached the clear CS to the back of the gates, and then coloured on the back of the clear CS with Copics...I sort of dabbed the colour on, rather than coloured it on, to achieve the textured glass look.

 Copics Used:
RV13, RV66, R35, BG57, B37

Inside:
The All Seasons Gazebo stamp comes with a beautiful lace stamp and I used that for the inside of my card.

Recipe:  HC Die-Ornate Gateway, HC SS-All Seasons Gazebo Precut Set, HC Clear CS, Spellbinders Fancy Lattice, CTMH CS-White Daisy, CTMH Ink-Lagoon, Rhinestones, Foam Squares, Celebrate It 3/8" White Grosgrain Ribbon, Copic Markers.

Top Tip Tuesday Masculine Challenge

Hello and welcome here!  We've had an eventful week since I last posted in our household, we had a bit of a medical emergency, but thankfully things are getting back to normal.  On the downside, I got behind on my DT creations, but I managed to eek both of today's posts by the skin of my teeth.  The TTT DT was so supportive and as I write this, they don't know that I actually got my card done, lol.  Of course the told me to not worry about it...and I didn't.  But I did have some down time today and I quickly threw together this card since I felt the creative juices flowing.  I just want to give a big shout out to the TTT ladies and say thank-you for your thoughts and prayers!

So, without further ado, the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge for the next fortnight is anything Masculine....anything for a guy will fit the bill.

Challenge - Masculine

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I used Sweet Sunday Sketch #179 for my card, it helped my card come together lickity-split.  A big thank-you to Birdie Brown for the image Robot with a Balloon.  I coloured the image with Copic Markers.  I printed 2 robots, and cut out the balloon and added foam squares behind it to give it dimension.

Heartfelt Creations Lighthouse

Hello and welcome here.  It's time for some more Heartfelt Creations inspiration...and don't forget that next week is the June New Release!!

Card Size:  4.25" x 6.25"

I was wanting to use the Balmy Breeze 12x12 Collection and a lighthouse stamp for a nice masculine Father's Day card.  When I pulled out my paper pack and was trying to decide which paper to use, I was looking at the page of mulitple images (scroll the bar once on the site) and saw this lighthouse and decide to use it instead of stamping (I stamped an image inside my card instead).  And because you get 2 sheets of each pattern, I paper pieced the light house, small house to the right and the grass and fence...it's easier to see in real life, the photo doesn't pick it up very well.

I cut a piece of box board (like you get from your cereal boxes) and trimmed it to fit behind the whole image piece for stability...I wanted to add a frame with hemp and didn't want the patterned paper to rip.  I knotted some natural hemp I had laying around and used it to frame the image. You can see the light house is paper pieced and attached with foam squares to make it stand out...the fence and grass are too, but it's difficult to see in the photo.

Towards the bottom of the page of mulitple images there is a banner, and I chose to cut it out and hand write my sentiment, I thought it was the perfect personalized touch.

I used VivaDecor Inka-Gold and rubbed it onto my cardstock swirl diecuts, I then rubbed Distress Inks Black Soot to give it an aged metal look, and not freshly gold.

I also sponged Distress Inks Stormy Sky onto the main piece behind the image and swirls...it was a little light and I wanted to darken it just a little.

Inside:
Recipe:  HC PP-Balmy Breeze Collection, HC Die-Decorative Lattice Swirl Die, Bazzill CS-black & cream, Distress Inks-Stormy Sky & Black Soot, Box Board, Black Felt Pen, Natural Hemp, Foam Squares, VivaDecor Inka-Gold, Crystal Ice Stickles.  Inside card:  HC SS-Heartfelt Expressions & High Seas, CTMH Ink-Black & Twilight.

Hello and welcome here!  I hope you had a great weekend.  My husband and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary, time sure flies when you're having fun!  Did you know that Christmas is only 6 months away?  Bite my tongue, lol, we haven't even had summer yet.  But this week at Cuttlebug Mania the Challenge is Christmas in June.

Don't forget to let us know how you used your Cuttlebug!

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
A big thank-you to A Passion For Stamps for supplying the DT with the super sweet digital Christmas Stocking image.  I decided to print it small and place it on a fireplace...I coloured them with Copics.  I made the fireplace out of Memory Box Grand Madison Window Large and Small...I trimmed the top part of the Large Window for the mantle, and the side pieces of the Small Window for the sides of the fireplace.

For the brick background I inked up the folder before putting the patterned paper in and sending it through the Cuttlebug.  I used CTMH Chocolate ink.

I stuck 2 mini brads into the 'mantle' and 'hung' the stockings.

Recipe: PP-BasicGrey Infuse Stew, Bazzill CS-black & cream, CTMH Ink-Black & Chocolate, Digital SS- A Passion For Stamps Christmas Stocking, CTMH SS-Twas the Night Before, Memory Box-Grand Madison Window Large & Small, Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 & Marvelous Squares, Sizzix EF-Tim Holtz Brick, Antique Copper Mini Brad, Foam Squares, Copics.
